Skateboarding
One of Year 2 children asked for a skateboarding club. Thanks to this request we had our first session of the skate boarding club. Mrs S went out to see how things were progressing and was amazed by the quick way on which children were picking up the skills. There is no doubt that there will be some spills with this group but the children are taught ways to minimise the risks. The children start each session by padding up and putting on helmets provided by the club lead. The children are then instructed on different steps and moves and how to do so safely. It is a brilliant club for Year 2 upwards. There are still, a few places if you want to join in!
