KS1 PHONICS

Each year one of the tests the government asks pupils to complete is the phonics screening.

The children are asked to read out 20 real words and 20 nonsense words to assess their phonic knowledge.

 

The Phonic Screening results for St Thomas's are:

2017 - 83%

2018 - 83%

2019 - 70%
