Homework
At St Thomas' we appreciate the support of families in embedding the learning of the children in the areas of reading, spelling and maths.
Each child is sent home with a reading passport. These are signed off by parents and children are rewarded with ClassDojos for successfully completing this home learning.
If you need a replacement passport please contact your child's teacher.
From Y2 upwards, spellings may be sent home to practise. Children have a log-in to a website called Spelling Frame which has lots of interactive games and activities to help them learn their spellings.
Starting in Y2, children will also be given access to a website called Times Table Rockstars. This is a fun way for them to learn and recall their multiplication and division facts. Please speak to your child's teacher if you are unsure which tables they should be learning.
