Martin Luther King Day

The children have been exploring the life of Martin Luther King in worship and lessons as we celebrate Martin Lutrher King Day.  There are also displays up by our Cultural Calendar outside Mrs Sanderson's room with some amazing inspirational quotes.  We use the Cultural Calendar to raise the profile of different events in the world so that the children have a broad understanding of their place in the wider world.

Year 5 have been looking at Martin Luther King's inspirational "I have a dream speech!"  and explored their own dreams.
