Inspiration Alley - Gold Medal Winning Louis Attrill
For our December Inspiration Alley visitor we welcomed Mr Louis Attrill - Sydney Olympics gold medal winner. Mr Attrill was a member of the Coxed 8 team who won gold at the Sydney Olympics. He shared with the children what inspired him to be a rower. The children were mesmerised by his presentation about the size of the boat and oars as well as the dedication that was needed for him to be part of the team. The children had prepared some fantastic questions for him. It was a wonderful visit and we are looking forward in a few years to see our own children participating at national level - and maybe bringing their own gold medals back to the school.
