Good Shepherd Mass
Each year children from all the Catholic Schools in the Diocese are invited by the bishop to attend Mass at the Cathedral in Portsmouth. Traditionally, children who are preparing for their First Holy Communion attend. This year 7 children attended the Good Shepherd Mass with a group of children from St Mary's. The FastCat that we travelled on actually had representatives from all the Catholic and joint faith primary schools on the Island. It was a special day and the sunshine meant we could have our picnic in the park next to the Cathedral. We also had a special visit from the Bishop whilst we had our picnic. Bishop Philip remembered us from his recent visit with us and spoke very highly of his time with us.
The group represented the school in a very good manner. Well done to all concerned.
