Go Green Day - NSPCC
Michelle from the NSPCC visited the school today. She shared with the children in a KS1 assembly and a KS2 assembly the need for children to tell their safe grown ups if they are unhappy about something in their life. Using age appropriate language Michelle spoke about ways that some children may not be treated kindly. To help her with the message she brought the NSPCC mascot buddy with her! The children were encouraged to learn the Childline number 08001111 so that they know there is always someone to listen to them at home, at school and at Childline. The money raised by the children wearing green today will be donated to NSPCC. Thank you to our families for supporting this initiative that will help children who live everyday with the reality of abuse.
