Global Rock Challenge
What a fantastic day was had on Friday when over 50 children and adults went to Portsmouth Guildhall to perform their Jonah and the Whale dance! The children behaved very well, despite the long day. They performed impressively in front of over 2,000 people! The Federation were also very appreciative of all the support shown by the families in the led up to the day and on the evening by attending the performance. There were some wonderful performances throughout the evening. Our schools did not get placed but did achieve 5 - yes - 5 awards!
Congratualtions to all concerned especially to all the adults who worked together across the two schools to enable this event to happen. This includes the office staff on both sites, the site managers, the Teaching assistants and the teachers as well as the parent helpers.
We could not have done this without you and what a wonderful memory for the children to keep for the future. We also thank Christ the King College who kindly allow us to rehearse as a single group in their hall.
