E Safety Talk
It was lovely to welcome P.C. Joe Finch into school today. He spoke to the children about how we use the internet safely.
His key messages were:
The internet can be a good place.
Sometimes there are things on the internet and people on the internet that make you sad. If this is the case tell a grown up as soon as you can.
Children were also reminded that things like Facebook and Snapchat have a minimum age to access them, usually 13 years old. This means that no child in this school should have their own facebook or snapchat accounts.
P.C. Finch is going to come back into school at a time when parents can join us so that they can also ask questions about keeping children safe on the internet. He will also share some videos that are helpful for parents.
