Bishop Philip Egan visits
It was lovely to welcome Bishop Philip Egan to St Thomas's. The Head Boy and Head Girl took Bishop Philip on a tour of the school. He also met with staff and governors. Bishop Philip then led a Solemn Worship with the whole school and Father Gerard. The whole school then went outside to watch Bishop Philip plant an oak tree with the two youngest and the oldest children. The children will use this tree as their prayer tree. Year 4 performed two country dances. One dance used the maypole that FOSTA has purchased for the school. It was a wonderful day and gave those of us who were lucky enough to be involved many happy memories to look back on.
