Arts Week Day Three

Day three of Arts Week has had a strong focus on music. We have been thrilled to share today with lots of musicians.

 

Students from Christ the King College joined Reception Class and Year 1 to sing and play their instruments for the children.  Our children absolutely loved the experience!  What a brilliant opportunity!

 

Year 2,5 & 6 listened to a 14 piece orchestra who took them on a journey of music through time.  A variety of music styles were performed and the children participated through questions with the different pieces of music.

 

Years 3 & 4 used music as they danced at the IOW Country Dance Festival at Havenstreet.  The children performed wonderfully and it was a lovely day.
